Ham-
Cook a large lean ham and make it go a long way with healthy quick meals for the family.
I baked ours, steamed brown rice in broth, a dash of soy sauce , minced garlic and added slivered almonds on top. Steamed carrots, peas and broccoli.
After our meal, I packaged up a few more quick meals to freeze for busy nights.
Tonight happens to be one of those as I'm teaching bootcamp until 6. Won't have time to cook, so I put some bread in the breadmaker machine, squash soup from the freezer from another time in the crockpot. Will be making the kids grilled ham and cheese panini's, and soup. Ham and rice with soup for hubby and I.
